Welcome to our spacious, self-contained studio apartment with vaulted ceilings and air conditioning. Nestled in the garden at the back of the property, it's adjacent to a saltwater pool and overlooks private landscaped gardens. Completed in January 2023, this purpose-built studio offers a comfy King-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster oven, a one-burner induction stovetop, and a full-sized fridge. The modern bathroom includes a shower, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The space If you time it right, you can enjoy fresh bananas, oranges, passion fruit, paw paws and limes. Feel free to use the hot peppers growing in the garden to spice up your meals. You'll have access to a shared washing machine in the garage, with an outside line for drying adjacent to your Studio, with a second line in the garage for rainy days, and a dryer for emergencies. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available. There is ample street parking on our wide, quiet residential street. Freshwater is a safe neighborhood with easy access to town. It’s about a 12-minute drive to catch ferries to Green Island, Fitzroy Island, or Great Barrier Reef tours. There’s also a bike path into town if you prefer cycling. The Northern Beaches are about a 20-minute drive away, and the Tablelands are perfect for a day trip. The international airport is just a 12-minute drive away. The swimming pool is right beside the Studio and is primarily for your use. Guests and residents staying in the main house may use it between 9 am and sunset only if you are not already enjoying it. This ensures you’ll always have first choice of the pool and can unwind at your leisure. Guest access Access is through the right-hand front gate, following the fence line to the back of the property. The self-contained suite is located behind and adjacent to the swimming pool. While the unit could be wheelchair accessible, please note there is one step to the pool deck, and you need to pass through two pool gates to reach the front veranda and door. Other things to note The property owners live onsite. There's an outdoor shower, toilet, and bathtub that guests are welcome to share with the homeowners. Homeowners will respectfully use the pool on occasion, so long as it doesn't disturb you. Please note, this is a large lot within a suburb, so you may hear typical neighbourhood sounds like people using their pools, mowing lawns, and occasional dogs barking. Overall, it’s mostly peaceful with occasional neighbour noises. Not suitable for children or babies.
