Centrally located in the lush, green hills of South Reward, SXM Hillside Retreat is a sanctuary among mango trees, far from traffic but 10 minutes from a large supermarket, beaches, shopping & Carnival Village! Up to 6 can stay in this large 3-bed/bath unit (2 kings, 1 queen) on the ground floor of a 2-story home with private parking, security gate and hurricane shutters. Guests like being near everything, even the French side, a 15-30 min. drive, traffic permitting. The space Spacious, open plan design with free wifi lets in natural light via multiple windows and sliding glass doors, all with mosquito screens and motorized hurricane shutters. Levelor blinds provide privacy. The unit is fully air-conditioned except kitchen and dining room that have ceiling fans. Living room features a large desk as work area and a rocking chair. All bedrooms have private bathroom with shower. Garden-side bedroom has ironing board and iron and can hold pack n play travel crib on request. Safe in middle bedroom can hold valuables and laptops up to 14.29". Washer and dryer off street-side porch are free to use and shared with the upstairs unit. Fully equipped kitchen includes oven, stove, air fryer, microwave, toaster, blender and BBQ grill, plus electric kettle and coffeemaker (coffee and fixings provided)! Guest access Guests have full access to the first floor of the property as well as a mango tree-shaded yard several steps down from the driveway. The sloping driveway can hold up to two cars, and there's a handy hose to wash them down. The building is entered from the street-side porch on the driveway level, or from the garden-side porch 3 steps up from the driveway. Other things to note Hurricane shutters - for privacy, extra safety or bad weather - are operated by the touch of a button from the inside, or a key from the outside. In case of power outage, a generator will come on. Laundry detergent is provided free of charge. While a separate building on the property houses Bronese Recording Studio, there is only occasional activity there and the building is totally soundproof.
