Alfie's Lookout is an off-grid cabin that is a cozy sanctuary for two (with no electricity or Wi-Fi). If you live in London, what could be easier than the hour’s drive to discover Feather Down’s first farm? The farm has cattle, sheep and arable crops in what must be one of the best spots for an off-grid escape in the South Downs National Park. Your cosy cabinwill look out across the fields of wheat, barley, rapeseed and lavender grown in this buccolic corner of Hampshire. The space Its weathered exterior, adorned with aged logs and a charming front porch, beckons you to enter a world of rustic enchantment. The cabin is equipped to meet your cooking needs, from pots and pans, and cutlery essentials. Just as with our canvas hideaways there is no wifi or electricity. There is a log-burning stove to keep you warm, and a small gas stove for basic cooking. This is rustic, off-grid living. With your own BBQ outside and firepit, enjoy the summers evenings. There is an ensuite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower inside the cabin. Guest access Explore the farm and the surrounding countryside at your leisure, or just sit and soak in the views Other things to note There is no heating, electricity or wifi We allow dogs. There is a maximum of 2 dogs allowed per canvas hideaway. They are charged at £25 per dog per stay. Should you book more than 1 dog we will request the additional £25 through the airbnb resolution centre.
