Situated in a cul-de-sac, along “The Avenues,” this home is a one of a kind Chico Charmer, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, one story home, sleeping 6, located close to Bidwell Park One Mile recreational area (2.5 miles), Cal State Chico (2.3 miles), downtown Chico (2.0 miles), and only a few blocks (0.7 miles) from Enloe Medical Center. It has a fully enclosed and gated backyard and front yard, on a peaceful street, great for large family groups and gatherings. The space Inside is a master bedroom with california king bed, and separate bathroom, followed by 2 smaller bedrooms with queen sized beds. One of these bedrooms includes a workspace with desk and office chair. Each bedroom has Casablanca ceiling fan and lighting, while the full home also runs on central AC and heating. The living room includes internet connected TV and is continuous with a cozy dining area that sits adjacent to a large kitchen with island where guests can be entertained while cooking. Amenities include in-unit washer and dryer, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods for each guest to enjoy a morning brew. Outside, in the backyard, is a fire pit, ready to use BBQ grill, outdoor umbrella covered seating area, beneath a massive palm tree for shade. The right side yard has another smaller seating area and hammock beneath the listeria canopy above. In the front yard, underneath the awning, is an outdoor rocking chair and separate sofa/futon to relax in with company. Board games are included for your use during your stay. Extra blankets and towels are located in the hall cabinet if needed. Extra toilet paper is located beneath the bathroom sink cabinets, as well. You can park up to 2 cars in the driveway with additional street parking in front of the home if needed. The home is SMOKE FREE. Smoking is not allowed on premises. Pets are not allowed. Guests with undeclared pets will be charged an extra fee and be asked to vacate and forfeit stay at Airbnb without refund. Guest access Entire house with exception of garage, pool, and wood stove. Other things to note The pool in the backyard is not available for use to guests, and is enclosed by a locked gate on both ends, as such, and covered on certain seasons. Please do not climb the gate or uncover the pool. The living room wood burning stove on pedestal is also not available for use to guests and is locked. The above 2 stipulations are to prevent accidental injury to guests (adults, children). We apologize for withholding access to these amenities. Additionally, please do not rearrange furniture, or bring outside furnishings into the home, or vice versa. Any violation to the above rules will entail additional charges/fees for damages incurred. Please be mindful of Chico City rules, which include a noise ordinance between 10pm-7am daily, with penalties for any violations.
