You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Located in the popular Dales village of Harmby, just one mile from Leyburn is 2, Rose Cottages. This charming country cottage is oozing with character, and would make the ideal base for a holiday in the Yorkshire Dales at any time of year. The space On opening the front door you are greeted by a welcoming country cottage kitchen retaining many interesting original features such as an alcove which was formerly a bread oven. The sitting room boasts an original 'Range' cleverly incorporating a wood burning stove to keep you cosy on those cooler winter evenings, maybe after an invigorating walk on the fells, and before you retire to the four poster bed in the master bedroom. The cottage is within easy reach of many local tourist attractions, pubs and restaurants and the large network of public footpaths which wind their way through the stunning and very beautiful countryside. The nearest pub, The Pheasant Inn, is at the top of the village but please note they do not serve food. Guest access The property is rented on a sole use basis, you will not be sharing the property with anyone else. Other things to note Mobile phone reception is patchy at the cottage and generally across the Yorkshire Dales!! There is Wi-Fi in the cottage so you can make internet calls over this but if you need to make a call over your phone network, it is advisable to stand near the front windows and ideally upstairs or alternatively walk to the top of the village.
