Head into the light and airy, open plan living, kitchen and dining area which has a comfortable sofa and large pouffe, perfect for settling into as you watch your favourite film on the Smart TV. There’s also a bedroom wth a kingsize bed and a spacious bathroom. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench-style seating. There is a lovely tea room on site serving food and drink everyday and a complimentary pass to Beamish, the open air museum, not to be missed. There is also a large, open woodland picnic area right next door which is perfect for some al fresco dining, along with a selection of country walking and cycling trails nearby. You can walk down to Causey Arch, the world’s oldest single-arch bridge and even take a trip on the oldest existing steam train in the world at the local Tanfield railway.
