Lo que te espera son unas vistas increíbles y una casa hermosa. Ever lived on a volcano before? If not, now is the time :) The walk uphill is 5-10 minutes to reach the house on the bottom of the volcano (280 steps), but you´ll see that it´s well worth it. Incredibles views are awaiting as well as a modern house. La casa de diseño es muy hermosa y moderna (el agua, por ejemplo, viene en una bomba desde el lago en tubos por más de 200 metros). Una estancia aquí significa estar en tranqulidad y en la paz en medio del la naturaleza y sin la bulla del centro, pero todavía teniendolo bastante cerca (25-30 minutos caminando en total desde la casa, o la otra opción son 5-10 minutos para la subida/bajada y un tuc tuc en 5 minutos para llegar al pueblo). La recomendación es mirar las fotos y leer los comentarios, está casa no solamente es una estancia, es una experiencia. Welcome to this specially designed, comfortable and modern house (the water, for example, is pumped from the lake in tubes more than 200 meters long). Staying here means to be in a calm and peaceful place in the middle of nature, escaping the noise of the center, while still having it pretty close (25-30 minutes walk in total from the house, or the other option is to walk the 5-10 pathway to the main road and then take a tuc tuc there for around 5 to town). The recomendation is to look at the photos and read the comments from other guests, this house will hopefully not only give you a nice stay, but also give you some memories for life. Recuerdan que van a vivir practicamente sobre un volcán al aire libre rodeado de la naturaleza, pues habrá lo que hay en la naturaleza como animales, plantas y árboles. No hay muchos vecinos, los vecinos mas cercanos tienen perros como mascotas, y aunque pueden ladrar mucho al llegar a la casa, son inofensivos y no afectan en nada a la propiedad. The neighborhood is very quiet. Remember that you will live practically on a volcano surrounded by nature, so you´ll find the typical things there is in nature such as animals, plants and trees. There are not many neighbors, the closest neighbors have dogs as pets, and although they can bark a lot when you get to the house, they are harmless and do not enter the property. One more thing I would like to add is that in Guatemala the electric system sometimes does not work when there is too much rain or wind and the service is sometimes cut off in regions and communities, it is a problem that affects the community and is not in our hands to solve but as we are always attentive to our clients we want to inform them and of course help them in the moment if necessary. Se puede llegar en carro o lancha desde Panajachel y llegando a San Pedro se comunican conmigo para llevarlos a la casa. Si vienen de la ciudad es mejor usar la carretera interamericana ya que está es la mejor vía. Se puede parquear el carro en la calle principal que está antes de subir el caminito hasta la casa (5-10 minutos a pie). Es gratuito y seguro. San Pedro can be reached by car or boat from Panajachel. If you come from the city it is better to use the Inter-American Highway, where the roads are better. You can park the car on the main street before going up the pathway to the house (5-10 minutes by foot). It's free and safe. Recomiendo hacer una compra grande una vez que están instaladas en la casa, pues es probable que se quedarán en la casa disfrutando y así tendrán comida/bebida guardados y no necesitan ir muchas veces al pueblo para hacer las compras. Para tener una mejor estancia en la casa, será mejor llamarme por cualquier cosa, y trataré de ayudar en la mejor manera. Por favor, cuide la casa como si fuera la suya, la queremos mucho, y esperemos que ustedes también =) Una cosa más que me gustaría agregar es que en Guatemala el sistema eléctrico a veces no funciona cuando hay demasiada lluvia o viento y el servicio a veces se corta en regiones y comunidades. Es un problema que afecta a la comunidad y no está en nuestras manos para resolver, pero como siempre estamos atentos a nuestros clientes, queremos informarles y, por supuesto, ayudarlos en el momento si es necesario. Once you are installed in the house, we recommend that you buy food/drinks that will last more than just one meal, since you are more than likely to just want to chill out in/around the house, and that way you´ll have everything you need closeby :) As said before, feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I will try to help in the best way possible.
