The space The home features natural lighting, sweeping water views and original mid century touches like a quartz fireplace and pink chrome bathroom. Modern upgrades like a 60 inch smart TV and free WiFi mean you can set up your laptop to work remotely or sip your coffee from the kitchen high top overlooking views of the water. In two of the three bedrooms you will wake to ocean views. Each of the bedrooms offer plush duvets and soft sheets. The expansive deck and patio are outfitted with outdoor furniture, Adirondack chairs and a wood-burning fire pit. Guest access You have full access to the private beach out front shared by only a handful of neighbors. Launch your kayak, small boat or stand up paddle board in time for summer fun. While you will have the house all to yourselves, the first floor is unfinished and will be off limits (with no construction noises or tenants). The prime views and living happen upstairs. Other things to note The views are across Saratoga Passage over to Whidbey Island with the snow-capped Olympics in the background and Mt Rainier also visible to the South. Local critters include otters, sea lions, seals, whales, porpoises, herons, waterfowl and birds of prey. During whale season, pods of orcas and the grays will come in and feed by scooping up food from the sandy bottom. When the tide is out, walk the long low bank private pebble beach with its countless rocks, shells, driftwood, starfish, sunfish or cast a line out and reel in a fresh fish. The crabbing season is from Fourth of July through Labor Day and sometimes there is a winter season as well.
