Registration #2018-4091. On top of a quiet, leafy street in Portland's East End, our hippest neighborhood! Short walk to popular destinations like the Old Port, the ferry terminal, breweries and award-winning restaurants...plus water views, sea gulls, fog horns, running trails, sunrises and sunsets! NOTE: Please *do not book this space* if you can't honestly live by our House Rules. All guests must confirm that their group will abide by House Rules w/in 24 hours of booking to be confirmed. The space Enjoy the best of Portland's award winning restaurants, harbor, tourist spots and beautiful outdoor spaces and come home to your cheerful & charming 1890's second floor apartment with original details & modern updates. The kitchen, with central butcher block eat-in counter, is designed for eating and entertaining and spills into the living room. Clawfoot tub, sliding barn doors, hardwood floors, and lots of windows. Its two bedrooms are super comfortable, with plush beds, high thread count sheets and duvets, quilts and fluffy pillows. And the living room has a sleeper sofa, so there are 3 beds available....but to keep noise in the house down, I limit the group size to 4 guests. It's located in the hip East End of Portland, popular for not only its water views, proximity to Portland's vibrant restaurants, tourist attractions and Eastern Prom with in-town beach, running trails, bike paths, live outdoor concerts, and expansive views....but its neighborhood bakeries, coffeehouse, corner grocery shops and restaurants. Guest access You'll have access to the entire apartment, including small rear porch behind kitchen! Other things to note HOUSE RULES These rules apply to all of our properties. If the space you rented is the Monument SWEET or Monument Garden SWEET, disregard the part about decks as those units do not have them. NO BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE WEEKENDS. Unfortunately we’ve found that the heavy drinking that always seems to accompany these groups results in disturbances of the peace. Bookings confirmed before 7/22/24 will be honored but strict adherence to all House Rules is required. If your group disturbs the peace you can be charged a noise fee starting at $100. General Rules for all Guests: - Quiet hours 10pm to 7am. When returning from an evening out, you and your guests are required to so so QUIETLY. Please message us, and we can send you a pet fee request through Airbnb - Quiet, well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome. Because our spaces are apartments in old buildings where noise travels, and the neighborhood is quiet and residential, it’s not a place where we can welcome dogs who bark, whine, or pace a lot, or who howl or exhibit any destructive behaviors - Puppies: you are required to bring a crate with you to protect against accidents - Please use a leash while entering and exiting the building and apartment. Portland has a leash law FYI, so you will need to have your dog on leash in all public areas anyway, unless designated off-leash - Please pick up! - Dogs or pups may not be left alone for more than two hours in our place, and you must keep your phone ringer on at all times. Should we need to reach you about barking, howling, excessive whining etc, you will be required to return home immediately to take care of your pooch - Any damage caused or extra cleaning necessitated by your furry one will mean an additional cleaning or damage fee.
