Split level decks with BBQ, eating & lounging areas; 2nd frig; outside half bath & shower. For 2024, 3 bedrooms & the lower deck were renovated, & the roof & skylights were replaced. The space Curated by four generations of family members, our beach rustic style predates up-cycling and biophilic design trends. Within each room you’ll find artifacts, some small and some quite large, that have washed up along our shores. Carefully collected treasures, like starfish and sea horses have been crafted into one-of-a-kind mobiles, and more. Entire walls, constructed with wooden planks discovered in the aftermath of sea storms, reflect Swiss Family Robinson-like adventure and ingenuity. Artwork like painted rocks and driftwood, penciled landscapes, and beach glass lamps inspired by nature’s abundance, filled many afternoon hours, and continue to reflect family memories and hold stories for all generations. We wish you joy in finding your own special treasures on the shore and making beautiful memories that last a lifetime. Guest access The whole house & 2 lower decks are completely available to guests. Other things to note To make your stay more enjoyable, the owner provides a complementary starter supply of coffee pods. There are also reusable k-cups for your preferred brew. Plus there is a 10 cup drip coffee maker. Owner also supplies for your stay: Hand soap & dish soap; dishwasher pods; laundry soap, stain remover & wool dryer balls; cleaning solutions & supplies, trash & recycle bags; paper towels & toilet paper. Other than the salt & pepper there are generally no other food items. There are no supermarkets or department stores, however, the Harbor Store carries small sizes of staple food items such as canned/bottled/packaged dry goods, limited produce & ice cream; beverages including liquor; paper goods; a deli that makes sandwiches and prepared meals: and some household, beach & clothing items. Please plan accordingly for all of your needs so that you have everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. TV service is the Choice package with DirectTV plus their Movies Extra package. You are welcome to bring your own streaming device. Keep in mind that this is a semi-rustic style beach house. It is comfortable & has everything you will need for a relaxing, "get away from the hustle & bustle", vacation stay. Mosquitoes can sometimes be an issue outdoors in the evening or in marshy areas like the nature trail. Mosquito repellent is recommended. Ticks are also present on the island.
