The construction elements are from renewable resources found on the property from which it sits and materials repurposed from 200 year old colonial buildings in Cap Haitien. This beautiful space is one of the few private properties in Labadie that offers breathtaking views of Haiti's northwestern coastline. Chato Relaxo is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day's journey to La Citadel or an ideal spot to kick-back with an ice cold Prestige after your day exploring the nearby beaches. The daily sunset from your balcony is something not to be missed. Chato Relaxo offers unbeatable access to La Citadelle Laferriere, Cap Haitien, and world-class Haitien beaches! Guests will have access to private balcony, dock and swimming area, electricity, running water, ceiling fans and fire pit. Additionally, guests are free to use our kayaks located at our dock. Guests will be greeted by our staff upon arrival. Staff will prepare and serve a continental breakfast as well as clean accommodations when requested. Our staff is available to help with bags and will also help launch kayaks off the dock. Labadie is a peaceful and quiet getaway from the busy city life of Cap Haitian and Port-au-Prince. The beaches of Labadie afford the opportunity to relax in its warm waters and take in the beauty and tranquility of coastal living. Enjoy a lazy morning with your favorite book while watching the fishermen row by with their morning catch. Property is accessible by both ocean and road but arriving via water taxi is preferred as the road to our place is quite rough. Water and land taxis are close by. There are no roads to Labadie village, the preferred method of transportation is by water taxi. A continental breakfast of fresh squeezed juice, coffee, homemade peanut butter, bread and local fruit is included each morning of your stay. If you are looking for transportation or excursions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I can help help arrange airport transfer, taxis to restaurants, or boat trips to local beaches. Please note: Chato Relaxo does not have Internet or television. We are truly an escape from it all! There is a Digicel tower nearby so cell access is available if you wish. There is no hot water in Chato Relaxo as we use collected rain water for our showers, sinks, and toilets - boho living! Dinner can be prepared and delivered at an additional cost per plate ($25). Please contact us after booking to arrange dinner as we will need advanced notice to provision. Our staff will collect cash for prepared meals.
