Travel back in time as you wake up to the sounds of the forest & over look the beautiful Ness Creek in this unique Trapper's Tent! The tent contains one double bed, a small wood heater and rustic wooden hand-made furniture. You'll be able to stay self contained cooking over an open fire or using the Coleman Stove provided. You must bring your own bedding. Book the Trappers Tent at Ness Creek today! The space The Trapper's Tent is one of the many accommodations at The Ness Creek Site. Our cabins are comfortable, clean and rustic (no running water) and have everything you need to be self-contained during your stay. There are a few shared areas, including a modern showerhouse which has coin-operated showers (bring your loonies!) and a dishwashing station. The Strawbale House is also shared and is a great place to cozy up next to the fire and read a book or play some cards. Last but certainly not least, we have a rustic Sauna for you to enjoy anytime. Wood is provided and there are detailed instructions on how to get it steamy but if you need a hand just let us know. The Ness Creek Site has over 25kms of trails that are great for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing and there are numerous lakes nearby for fishing, canoeing and swimming! Guest access Please do not be confused with Ness Lake and Nesslin Lake. These are different places! Please search for The Ness Creek Site in your GPS or (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps. We have had a few guests accidentally go all the way to Nesslin Lake only to have to turn around! In case your GPS can't find us, once you turn off of the Main Grid road, take the 3rd right. There is a large sign at the turn showing Upcoming Events at Ness Creek. Follow this road to the Festival Site where the stage and hall are located! Other things to note Bedding is not provided with this booking. Water and two loads of firewood for the wood-heat stove are included in the fee. The tent is located creekside and approximately a 5+ min walk.
