Charming, original, quaint, picturesque, genuine, character filled, oozes charm, quintessentially English, cosy, wood burners, home made brownies, friendly elderly dogs who love people and cuddles, much loved and restored family home filled with love who love to share all that they love. The space This room has a lovely aspect overlooking the garden and village, being based in the heart of Ardingly village. It has a super comfortable king sized bed with a cosy 15 tog duvet in winter with 1000 thread count Irish linen and 4 feather pillows. There is a very handy walk in wardrobe with plenty of hangers and hanging space, iron and board. The room has all the little touches and more you should need to make your stay very comfortable from soft waffle bath robes, towels, gratuitous hair products, body wash, body lotions, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, homemade chocolate brownies and many little extras and touches to make your stay very memorable. Extra special touches available upon request for special occasion celebrations. The village has two wonderful pubs, the Ardingly Inn opposite Chestnut Tree Cottage and The Gardners Arms within a half mile walk or a couple of minutes drive. There is a delicious bakery over the road "Fellows Bakery' which sells artisan breads, hot pies and pastries, drinks to go and many more delicious home baked goodies made on the premises every day. The Ardingly Cafe opposite, caters for breakfast and lunch with many homemade cakes, food and beverages to go, if require.There is a convenience store 2 minutes up the road which sells papers, cupboard essentials, sweets, chocolate, wine, beer etc run by a lovely couple Kim and his wife. Guest access You will have access to the front door, welcome to chill in the sitting room ( snug) with us…..lovely fireplace and friendly dogs. Flight of stairs to the bedroom and you’re the first bedroom on the landing past the family bathroom.
