Description

The guest house near Mt. Rainier is nestled in the edge of the woods & provides an excellent relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy your own private fire pit with gas BBQ. We are 25 minutes away from Mt. Rainier, 10 min away from the main grocery store/restaurants, and only 1 min away from the gorgeous Alder Lake. The space It may look like a regular mobile home, but when you step inside, the warm cozy space will feel like an outdoor adventure. Hunting and wildlife decorations are throughout the whole space. The log furniture makes a perfect rustic getaway, and it helps one to disconnect. Its natural rugged look represents another time long ago when things were much simpler... It is only about 850 square feet, but it can easily accommodate up to 8 guests if you don't mind being close to each other. Bedroom number one features a queen size bed. Bedroom number 2 is very tiny and features a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and a twin bed next to it. An additional twin-size bed and a long couch are added to the living room for extra guests. For your entertainment a Smart 55" TV was recently added to the living room as well. The Wifi is Starlink, but due to metal walls & roof the signal is not very strong inside the mobile. The kitchen does NOT have a cooking stove, but we do provide 2 electric pans where you can cook just about anything. A slow cooker and an instant pot are provided as well. We do have a good size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and a kettle for your coffee or tea. (provided). You will also find cups, glasses, silverware, dishes, salad bowls, a cutting board, a knife, kitchen utensils, and a few other little things you may need for cooking like salt, pepper, & oil. The dining table sits 6 people and one more extra chair is added to the side. The kitchen has a door that leads to the back of the mobile home where you will find a secluded firepit area with string lights for night time convenience. There is a gas BBQ , & folding table, & chairs. Enjoy your dinner or a glass of wine while listening to the sound of coyotes that are often howling in the distance as soon as it gets dark. Last minute or same-day bookings are usually not a problem. We understand after a long day of exploring, you just need a place to rest your head for the evening. Guest access *Love HIKING? Our property located only 25 min away from the Nisqually side of Mt. Rainier. Once you enter the park, you will drive another 25 min to get to the top. (Skyline Trail). *Love RIDING? Elbe ORV park is 20 min away! (if you have an extra vehicles or toys you are haluling and need a space to park for a night, a week or a month please reach out. We can help. *Love FISHING? 2- 5 min away. Alder Reservoir is open year-round and offers good harvest opportunity for stocked kokanee. The reservoir also supports naturally reproducing populations of coastal cutthroat, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, black crappie, white crappie, and brown bullhead catfish. We are 1-2 min away from Alder Lake where you can swim, fish, kayak, and enjoy the scenery. *Love HUNTING? Just a few min away (5-10) we have Elbe Hills which offers excellent small and big game hunting opportunities, and especially for deer and elk. Vehicle access to the forest during hunting season is limited only to those with a disabled access permit; all others may access the forest by foot, bike or horse. *NEED GAS, SNACKS OR FOOD? Its all only4 min away from our property as well as a gift shop and couple of resturants including the Mt. Rainier Railroad Dining place. *Need GROCERIES? 10 min away from us is the town of Eatonville where you will find a big grocery store and a few other places to eat. *Recycled Spirit of Iron Sculpture Park is an awesome free to public place to spend your evening which is also located only about 8 min away. *Northwest Trek Wildlife Park 720-acre wildlife park with native Northwest animals, forest, tours and more. 25 min away *When you here, you are more then welcome to explore and walk around our property. You might be sharing the yard with other guests if other places are booked. You are welcome to explore our 2 acres of woods. There is even a little 10 min trail up the hill in the woods which can lead you to see the Sunset. Other things to note WiFi is Starlink. The signal inside the mobile is poor due to metal walls & a secondary metal roof.
