Sleeps 4 in a perfect base to walk the Uldale Fells, bike the tracks and quiet roads, explore local footpaths and get to know this scenic corner of the Lake District. Recently renovated, central heated a cosy base with views of Skiddaw , Longlands Fell and Binsey. Uldale is a farming community with excellent tearoom, open daily, and a community kids playground and tennis court. Ireby 2 miles away has a dining pub ,Caldbeck has good shops, pub and cafes ,a brewery and Distillery close by too. The space Trusmadoor was originally a small cottage and barn that was converted first 30 years ago to make a second home/holiday cottage. Our family use it as a wonderful base in the hills, we walk the dogs from the cottage,explore the Uldale fells and have the safety of the lockable bike shed. Come and share in the quiet life of Uldale and the Northern Fell and lakes. Guest access The cottage is for your sole use. We own the courtyard outside the cottage, but we have a respectful relationship with our 2 neighbours, who have access parking for their dwellings too. One Greenah cottage next door is a holiday rental too, and Keith and Theresa live at Hilltop Cottage permanently. They are both really good and kind neighbours . Other things to note We do not have arrangements for charging electric cars. There are not many chargers locally.
