Our ancestorial home, tastefully modernised and redecorated throughout. Kuzhivila House located in a peaceful and serene setting surrounded by nature making it an ideal choice for a tranquil getaway in Varkala. In the heart of Varkala, away from the noise and bustle of the famous stunning cliff top so you get the best of both worlds and can enjoy the tranquillity and scenic surroundings, yet 10 minutes drive from the Arabian Sea at Varkala Beach. The space Well Furnished and to a high standard yet at budget rates the property is run by a lady host (Indian and English speaking) and is a safe place for women travellers. The AirBnB nightly price is for the whole property (four bedrooms). The majority of our rooms are air-conditioned with additional traditional fans and come with free Wi-Fi throughout allowing our guests to unwind and relax. There are four spacious and comfortable bedrooms with each room designed to give guests total privacy with private balcony and en-suite bathroom facilities available. The separate kitchen and spacious dining and living rooms are available for all guests giving you more intimacy together. The Gardens of Janaki are a safe pleasure garden with lots of trees and specimen flowers and sometimes you can spot peacocks, monkeys and all kind of birds. At Kuzhivila House we can also arrange for fantastic authentic Keralan cuisine to be delivered (24 hour notice). Recommended for couples, solo travellers, families and small groups and business travellers. Relax, detox and rejuvenate, maybe take the opportunity of an Ayurveda massage at the in-house facility (extra cost). The North cliff or main tourist area is only 15 minutes away and here you will find some beautiful restaurants perched along the cliff edge. Auto-rickshaw’s can easily be arranged for your convenience. You have unlimited access to the garden, terraces, fully equipped kitchen, dining, living and numerous bathroom facilities. Other things to note We can offer a range of services to our guests, including a 24-hour CCTV security, laundry facilities, and a travel expert that can help plan excursions in and around Varkala. We can guide you towards Cooking Classes, Stand-Up-Paddling on the backwaters and help you to organise day trips within Kerala. Our family home also has separate facilities for providing Ayurvedic Panchakarma & Wellness treatments and we can offer services backed by a team of Ayurvedic doctors and male/female masseurs to provide the Ayurveda treatment. Please carry your house slippers as you have to keep your shoes out side the house on the shoe rack. We follow this meticulously so as to ensure a clean and hygenic home for fellow guests. We also operate a non smoking policy within the property.
