Gîte de Rouville – MARSAC-EN-LIVRADOIS The space Come and stay in this traditional stone home, restored in the "spirit of the place". Mitoyant to an unoccupied house, it guarantees you peace and quiet in the heart of a green setting. This village house dating back to 1850, fully renovated and upgraded in 1994, consists on the ground floor: - a living room with a beautiful stone fireplace. It is equipped with a seamlessly integrated contemporary insert. High-performance and slow-burning, it efficiently heats the entire cottage while significantly reducing electricity consumption. Firewood is available to order on site at a cost of €40 per half cubic meter (0.5 m³), delivered to the adjoining barn. - a kitchenette - a toilet and lingerie The glass window opening onto a terrace with pergola will offer you 180° views of the Forez mountains. On the 1st floor of the cottage is 3 bedrooms: - 1 bedroom with 2 90 beds - 1 bedroom with a 140 bed - 1 bedroom with a 140 bed - a bathroom as well as an independent toilet. The second floor is closed to tenants. For families with young children, in the kids' room, you will find: a fold-out bed, a booster seat with a tray (to be attached to one of the wooden chairs in the living room), and a small potty. In the dish cupboard, a complete set is available for your use: cutlery, plates, and bibs suitable for toddlers. Electric heating will be charged based on your usage (approximately €150/week in the middle of winter) + an additional charge for the wood-burning insert in the fireplace on the ground floor. (Wood available by reservation, payment directly on site) The yard and barn can be used as a garage. In the area, you will have access to many activities such as the Jardin pour la Terre in Arlanc, the Musée de lace in Arlanc, the Château de Mons, the Maison de la Fourme in Ambert, the Richard de Bas in Ambert, La Chaise-Dieu and its abbey, hiking or cycling as well as the Ambert Valley. Shops, services and producer markets are offered in Arlanc, Ambert and Marsac-en-Livradois (within 5 km to 16 km). The gîte also has access to fiber-optic Wi-Fi and internet outlets on the ground floor and upstairs in one bedroom. Outdoor games for young and old are available on request in the barn in front of the cottage like a ping pong table. Things to know: The owner accepts long stays for businesses or others with a possible discount.
