In the area, you will have access to many activities such as the Jardin for the Earth in Arlanc, the Lace Museum in Arlanc, the Château de Mons, the fourme house in Ambert, the Richard de Bas paper mill in Ambert, La Chaise-Dieu and its abbey, hiking or biking as well as the Ambert Valley. This pretty original house of the old village (1850) completely renovated and brought to standards in 1994 consists on the ground floor of a living room with beautiful stone fireplace (wood €39/half stere), kitchenette, toilet and linen room. The bay window opening onto a terrace with pergola will give you 180° views of the forez mountains. On the 1st floor of the cottage is 3 bedrooms (2 beds 140, 2 beds 90), a large bathroom and a toilet. Electric heating will be adjusted according to your consumption (about €150/week in the middle of winter). The courtyard and barn can be used as a garage. Shops, services and farmers' markets are offered in Arlanc, Ambert and Marsac-en-Livradois (within a radius of 5 km to 16 km). The cottage also has Wi-Fi access and internet outlets on the ground floor and upstairs in a bedroom. Outdoor games for young and old are available on request in the barn in front of the cottage like a ping pong table. Things to know: The owner accepts long stays for companies or others with possible discounts.
