Riverside Cottage in Norfolk

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. Our house is a period cottage that has been fully modernised, tucked away with a peaceful frontage to the River Waveney. On the south western edge of Diss, the house sits on the beautiful and historic Fair Green. It's a large family cottage, with exposed beams, inglenook fireplace and woodburner. It sleeps 6 upstairs (2 rooms can be organised with either double or single beds), with an additional +2 on the sofa bed downstairs. The space The house feels private with beautiful views. Spend long days enjoying views from the patio doors, playing the piano, or cooking on the Rayburn. It's a place to relax, and then go and explore. The river running around the perimeter of the garden marks the Norfolk/Suffolk border: a foot in each county. You can sit and watch the river go by, with resident ducks. You can spend time in the garden, with BBQ, outside sofas, dinning area and places to settle. Or light up a Tie-fighter (Star Wars) fire pit, while bouncing on the trampoline. The bedrooms can be set up to fit your group. The master bedroom has a kingsized bed. The other two bedrooms upstairs can be organised as either doubles or twin rooms. In the snug downstairs at the back of the house, we have a double sofa bed. Guest access The whole house and garden is available. If you want to use the brand new outside den, you'll be welcome to access (not yet furnished but a beautiful quiet and sunny spot to read). We also have an outside office (insulated) which you can use. The front garage is not accessible. The driveway is shared with the neighbours. Enjoy! Other things to note The house is easily accessed by road. We are around 1.5 miles from the station (direct trains to Norwich and to London Liverpool Street in 1.5 hours). Trains run frequently to Norwich (around 20 mins)
