We welcome you to Hillside! We built our little off-grid bush home with 2 lofts. You will feel relaxed and connected to nature as there is so much wildlife! There is a full-size kitchen with all utensils and a spacious full-size bathroom with our modern odourless compost toilet. Stay warm with an internal fire place, the outdoor bath backing onto the bushland, and fire pit with seating (some firewood included) Additional costs: organic seasonal fruit/veggies or neighbour's red wine! The space There are two open sleeping lofts with valley, bush and water views (dams with wild ducks and geese)The main loft up built-in stairs has a king bed. The second loft is a double bed that is accessed via a fold-up ladder (please ensure you are confident with ladders and heights for this loft and small children are not recommended to use this loft) The bathroom is very large and spacious with a full-size shower and basin. We have a Nature's Head compost toilet which is very modern and does not smell. The kitchen is full size with gas bottle cooking. I love cooking so the kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, healthy cookbooks and even a slow cooker and tagine. We provide coffee, black, and herbal teas and your basics for cooking. As we are off the grid, we are on tank water so request guests be mindful of their water usage. for our greywater, we use only safe greywater cleaning products that are eco-friendly and safe for all skin types. So all your hygiene cleaning and kitchen cleaning soaps are provided. This lifestyle of tiny house living is minimal and a good place if you need to unwind. Enjoy the many spots to just relax and chill out. This house is Good for deep listening to nature and just being mindful. We do not have a TV though wifi if needed. A projector is available. There is also a large collection of books and vinyl records to enjoy while you stay. Yes, this is cold country but we have catered to keep you warm with a fire place, blankets to use when sitting outside or by the firepit. Enjoy an outdoor bath with hot water that backs onto the bush. The house has reverse aircon and the beds are fitted with flannelette sheets, blankets and additional blankets to keep you warm. Guest access Hillside property is on Wiradjuri Country. Enjoy the front paddock and the bushland around the tiny house that is shared with the kangaroos, koalas and many birds. The chickens will be down along the fence, waiting for some food. You are welcome to feed them (please assure it is food appropriate for a chicken) You are welcome to walk through the bushland behind the house, though please be mindful of snakes. Please note the veggie garden, orchid and fenced main yard are areas for our family. Other things to note As the bush is home to koalas, echidnas and other natives. We leave the bushland as it is. Please do not collect wood we will provide you with some, however, if you intend to have more fires in winter please bring your own wood or we can sell you more. Registration Details PID-STRA-51511
