Beautiful four-season waterfront cottage located on the outskirts of Augusta. The main living space has a full kitchen, living room/dining space, bathroom with laundry, and bedroom (queen bed). The walk-out basement, with its own bathroom, offers a cabin-style space to lounge in or as a second bedroom. Or stay outside and enjoy the water views from the second-story deck or ground-level fire pit. Either spot is an amazing place to enjoy the night sky and listen to the loons and eagles! The space Welcome to your lakeside retreat! This cozy cottage sits on a private paved lane with just two other neighbors (only one visible), giving you plenty of elbow room on our spacious 1.4-acre lot. The main level (660 sq ft) has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen with coffee ready to brew, dining area, comfortable bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom with tub and laundry, plus a living room with a very comfy leather couch and 42" TV for relaxing evenings. The finished walkout basement adds even more space to spread out. This 250 sq ft area feels like having a second living room - complete with a huge modular sofa, 50" TV, its own bathroom with shower, and climate control. It's perfect for extra guest or anyone who wants their own quiet space. You'll access it from the covered patio outside. We also provide an additional adult sleeping cot for additional guest sleeping arrangements. The outdoor amenities are where this place really shines. Take our kayaks out for a paddle, then unwind on the private dock while watching the sunrise or sunset. Fire up either the propane or charcoal grill (we keep both stocked), enjoy a game of cornhole in the huge yard, or gather around the fire pit with our complimentary firewood. The fishing is excellent too, so bring your gear or just enjoy watching the water from the dock chairs. Modern conveniences include high-speed WiFi and Netflix, so you can stay connected when you want to. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventure or simply want to relax by the water, this peaceful getaway offers the perfect balance of comfort and natural beauty. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire property. The basement space is only accessible from the outside ground level. Other things to note The driveway is can be bumpy in the spring and fall so please utilize caution. We do allow up to two housebroken pets. Please make sure to list all pet(s) when making your reservation. The cottage is located off a somewhat busy main road so you can hear some road noise.
