Enjoy our beautiful mountain town from your renovated, clean and cozy basement suite. Your one bedroom apartment has a queen bed, separate living and dining area, cable and flat screen TV. Make meals in the fully stocked kitchenette, including coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, mini fridge, dishes, tools, utensils and pots and pans. We are centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, a 5 minute walk to downtown and trailheads. The space Suite 2 is a renovated 1 bedroom apartment in the basement of our home. It is a self contained unit with everything you need to feel at home. The apartment has a separate bedroom with queen bed, living room with flat screen tv and cable and a separate dining area. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to prepare light meals. Including a coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, mini-fridge, pots pans, dishes and utensils. The washroom has a full size shower, but no bathtub. Off the suite entrance porch is an outside sitting area with table and chairs. We have 2 suites in total in the basement. The entrance for both suites is separate from our main entrance. If someone has rented Suite 1, you would share the outside door to the basement and the hallway where the 2 suite entrances are with them, much like an apartment building. Please note we are a family with a teenager, and while we try to keep things quiet, kids will be kids. We also have 2 sweet dogs who might bark hello if they see you. If the dogs are outside they are in our separate fenced yard. There is a queen bed in the bedroom. At this time we cannot offer additional beds, but you are welcome to bring an air mattress if you require extra beds. Guest access You will have your own fully furnished 1 bedroom suite, accessed by the porch entrance door at the end of our driveway. There are stairs down to the basement. You are welcome to park in the driveway or in front of the house. Other things to note For people sensitive to noise: Please note that we are a family with a teenager living upstairs. We have renovated to be as soundproof as possible and try to keep things quiet, however you may hear the occasional thump, squeak in the floor or footsteps. Sounds like high pitched laughter or talking can travel. For people with dog/cat allergies: We do allow pets to stay in our suites. So you may see another guest's pet in the hallway. While we have a stringent cleaning protocol, we cannot guarantee that the reservation before you did not have a pet with them.
