The cabin "Sundestova" in Øygarden

Welcome to Sundestova, our magical cabin at Hellesøy! Here you can really enjoy the peace and relaxation in scenic surroundings. Great hiking opportunities. Gløvro is especially recommended, where you can explore beautiful landscapes and enjoy fresh air. There are also good fishing opportunities both near the cabin and in the area in general. The cabin has a lovely patio with a fire pit, egg chair and seating area. Relax under the open sky and enjoy pleasant moments around the fire. We have extra chairs available in the storage room. The space Our cabin is over 50 years old, so the door frames are low. We also have a support beam in the living room that people over 172 cm must be aware of. The cabin has roof water that goes through many filters and down into a well. Therefore, there are 5 liter cans of water in the drawer. We use this for food and drinks. The water in the tap is fine to drink, but we use it for brushing teeth, showering and washing. Other things to note No fishing gear in or outside the cabin.
