Bayville Little House on the Bay
Stay in our charming newly built year round little house. It’s a perfect location at the head of Linekin Bay with a short walk to dock, beach, tennis/pickleball court, and nature trails. This cottage only 1 mile from town offers a peaceful retreat with all the comforts you desire. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a cozy living area flooded with natural light. Enjoy the views of the garden from the dinning nook. The bedroom has a plush king sized bed ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The cottage is tastefully decorated with whitewash pine board in the living are and earth tones on the bedroom area. There are many windows facing south and natural light is plentiful. There are shades that offer privacy and yet show through to the outside. For summer the area is cooled with a heat pump. There is plenty of parking and the cottage has its own entrance with a key. The keys are available upon arrival. My name is Alina and I am committed to making your stay enjoyable. I have a friendly golden doodle and a tuxedo cat as pets. I have equipped the kitchen with the basic and upon request I can supply special cooking items e.g. waffle iron, rice cooker, pressure cooker and much more. I can recommend local restaurants and places to visit. I have a 32 inch Roku TV and books available. There is a tennis/pickleball court across the road and a ping pong table in the community center. Bayville Village is a historic vacation spot established in 1911. It has its own cute post office. There are summer cottages that have been in the family for many generations. Our cottage was owned by my husband's father bought in the early 50's. There are narrow roads around the village where you can talk walks and enjoy the ambiance of nature. The nearby dock has seating to enjoy the gorgeous scenes and wildlife of Linekin Bay. You can observe osprey eagles catch fish and seals popping up there heads for a look. The dock looks out onto small islands Black stone, Fishhawk and Cabbage Island. The sea temperature in the summer rises to 70+ degrees which makes for an enjoyable cooling swim. Just step onto the ocean by a ladder from the dock or dive in as many young people do.
