4 person holiday home in GEILO-By Traum The space Pleasant apartment perfectly located near alpine and cross-country skiing opportunities at Geilo. Here, you can put on your skis right outside the door and have everything within easy reach. About 6-8 minutes’ walk to the ski lift, where you also find Kikutkroa with a good selection of food and wine, and at the top of the lift, there is a small wine bar with a fantastic view. It is possible to order bed linen when booking. Towels are not included and need to be brought by guest. The apartment is small and practical. It contains a small hallway, open kitchen/living room with TV and internet and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Underfloor heating in bathroom, living room/kitchen, and hallway. Free ski buses to the center and other slopes in the area. The apartment is centrally located in Kikut with a bus stop right outside the door. The location is also a perfect starting point for cycling, climbing, hiking, cross-country skiing, and slalom. Geilo offers several traditional events, including Spark WC in January, Easter parties at Kikut, Slarverennet and Skarverennet in April, "Helt på Vidda festival" in August, Oktoberfest and food market in September and Christmas market in December. Geilo is a small mountain town with many shops, a large selection of restaurants in the center, on the ski slopes and along the hiking trails. Local food has long traditions in the village, and there is a local gourmet shop in the center. There are over 90 fishing lakes/rivers in the area, possible to book guided fishing trips. The fishing season is all year round, with trout as the dominant species in the area. There is a free shared laundry room on the ground floor with washing machine and tumble dryer.
