Take a break from the hustle 'n' bustle and jump into nature. Enjoy scenic views and wildlife at a tucked away, spacious, primitive campsite. The campsite is located on a peninsula on a rustic private marina. The campsite will include a picnic table, fire pit, and camping grill. This is paradise for kayakers! Bring the family and enjoy the local beaches or go on a date to one of our local restaurants. Mathews has so much to offer! It's time to explore. The space You will be located at Campsite 2. There are two primitive campsites located on the peninsula, giving you ample space to relax and unwind. The campsite does not have running water or septic. However, there are porta johns located on site. There is a public boat ramp located at the very end of the main road. Guest access Guests will have access to amenities included at the campsite as well as porta johns. You're welcome to go for a walk, giving space to other campers and stored watermen equipment. Boat slips and boat ramp are available at an extra free. Other things to note Be cautious with young children as it is located on the water and the depths vary. There is also a small cliff/drop off next to the campsite. Bring some bug spray in case the mosquitos or gnats invite themselves over to visit.
