Off season discounts have started! Lower daily rate and $50 off total amount when you book 3 days or more. Fall and winter in Kitsap County are beautiful and worth the trip! Relaxing, quiet 3 story cabin in the Indianola forest. Two bedroom, two bathroom renovated 1500 sq foot spacious cabin. Walk to the waterfront/Indianola beach. Minutes away from Whitehorse golf course, one of Kitsap peninsula’s finest golf course locations. Great central location to travel throughout the region. The space Traditional log cabin is over 200 feet away from host house. The overall property sits on over 5 acres, much of which can be explored by guests. Large cedar and fir trees surround and encompass the property. Nature abounds with various birds and wildlife in the surrounding woods. A true escape to nature....quiet, solitude and relaxation. -Newly renovated downstairs with queen size bed and bathroom with walk-in shower and slipper tub -Full kitchen with all amenities -King size bed in loft space with work area (accessible by log stairs/ladder - Steep) -Fold out sofa bed -Partial wraparound deck with sitting area to enjoy the outdoors Outdoor gas fire table to enjoy the outside and stay warm! Or bring some wood (I do have some that can be purchased) and have a camp fire at the fire pit! Guest access The cabin includes a large yard with fire pit. Guests can walk to the lower field/meadow. We are working on a fruit tree area and a herb garden to share with guests! (Update: the herb garden is up and running.) Other things to note Please note the road to the property is unpaved and consists of loose gravel/dirt/mud when rainy. It is a private road and is maintained by the land owners so please drive slow, 10 MPH. Power to the area, more so in wintertime, can be lost. Don’t worry, the cabin has a backup generator that will automatically turn on. It turns on automatically for a weekly test - mid week. Wildlife: This is in the woods and we do have native wildlife. Do not leave food outside as it attracts creatures, big and small. There are several windows with screens to allow outside air and smells inside. I suggest keeping doors closed because of bugs, wildlife (bats fly in at night through open doors) and my chocolate lab who sometimes runs to the cabin to greet people - and check for food left out! Ferry traffic is very busy Friday through Sunday. You might consider coming early (Thursdays), leaving late (Mondays) or both!!! :)
