Other things to note You are only: • 10 minutes from Lake Superior • 35 minutes from Superior • 45 minutes from Duluth • 55 minutes from Bayfield A welcome book is provided on the premises when you arrive. Please take the time to read through this information. Most questions pertaining to the house and the premises are answered in this book. This book also contains tips on all the incredible outdoor activities, local shops, art, and places to get gas, groceries, and dine out. We are a dog-friendly place (maximum of 2 dogs), but please let us know if you plan to bring yours, as we charge an additional pet fee. We ask that you clean up after your dog (inside and outside) and do not leave your dog unattended in the home unless kenneled. Any ATVs/UTVs can only be driven on our driveways, not around our property or down the walking path. Please note that our fly season runs from September to October. Despite weekly spraying, flies remain uncontrolled in this area. On the bright side, it makes for a great fishing season.
