The space Welcome to Steamboat Springs- home of world-class skiing, mountain biking and hiking! This slice of paradise is nestled in the slope-side Storm Meadows community where your backyard is the breathtaking Colorado landscape. Settle in here and you'll have ski in/ski out trail access plus easy entry to the brand new Wild Blue Gondola. You're just a 5-minute trail walk away from all the entertainment of Steamboat Springs $344 million base area renovation. This expansion is the hub for summer and winter activities including concerts, dining, shopping, and more. THE CONDO Our full kitchen, hardwood floors, modern décor, and wood-burning fireplace make this a perfect slope-side spot for a family or small group. Take in the fresh air and mountain views from your balcony, soak in the shared hot tub, or go for a float in the pool. With this property you have access to several amenities, including a fitness room, sauna and tennis courts- all just a couple minute walk away! THE KITCHEN The updated kitchen is open to the living room and features granite counters and stainless-steel appliances. The open layout makes it nice for cooking while enjoying the views. Pick up ingredients for a hearty pot of soup to warm up after a day on the slopes, then gather at the six-person Z Gallerie modern dining table for a relaxing meal. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials like cookware, blender and coffee maker so you can prepare your favorite comfort foods. THE LIVING AREA Unwind in the living room on the leather sleeper sofa and club chair. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace and watch a movie on the 55” flat-screen smart TV. PRIMARY BEDROOM When you are ready to tuck in, you’ll find a king bed with premium mattress and Pottery Barn tufted headboard and slope-side views in the primary bedroom. The en suite bathroom has a spacious granite vanity and a large walk-in shower with sleek glass doors and heat lamp to keep you warm. SECOND BEDROOM The second bedroom has two premium twin beds with luxe duvets for a cozy nights sleep. Wake up and take in the views from the vast windows. The adjacent full bath has a large granite vanity and a tub/shower combination. THE LOCATION After you’ve worked up an appetite, head over to the Truffle Pig for an upscale casual restaurant with American fare. For an authentic Steamboat dining experience head to town (10 minute drive) and dine Creekside at Laundry. When the weather is warm, you can rent kayaks, tubes, and stand-up paddle boards at One Stop Ski Shop (13-minute drive), and then head over to the Yampa River. Or stop at Wheels Bike Shop (13-minute drive) and hit the Yampa River Core Trail. Pool, hot tub and spa amenities Please note that most clubhouses run seasonal hours and ours is no exception. Typically we experience closure or limitations during the month of October and/or beginning of November. If pool or hot tub usage is important to you for your stay then you will want to confirm with us seasonal hours (they change from year to year). We highly recommend Strawberry Park hot springs and Old Town hot springs for a fun and authentic experience! Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Like most of our mountain property neighbors this rental does NOT have air-conditioning. You'll find ceiling fans in the family area and primary bedroom plus box fans equipped in the closet just in case. The cool mountain nights allow for opening windows and getting fresh air inside the condo. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check in is after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. You'll be given a unique access code to use on the keypad before your arrival so that you can conveniently self-check-in. Our cleaning crew gets started early so please just check for personal belongings and check-out by 10:00 am. PARKING There is space for one car per unit in parking lot. No RV or trailers are allowed to park in the lot. Quiet Hours Quiet hours in Storm Meadows are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Thank you for being mindful of other residents or guests that are in the building. SMOKING To keep this property fresh and clean, smoking is not permitted anywhere on our premises. If smoke is detected, a $500 fee will be applied to your reservation. PETS Pets are not permitted.
