Guest access Enjoy a leisurely walk through the village or explore the rugged coastline offering tranquil and memorable moments of your visit in this quaint seaside escape. Other things to note Located on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides, St. Martins is a beautiful picturesque village with a rich history. The scenic village has many interesting features including Victorian properties, miles of unspoiled, quite accessible beaches, two lighthouses, a garden park, an active harbour boasting two covered bridges, world famous "Sea Caves" and is the Gateway to the Fundy Trail. The view from our home is the only significant coastal salt water marsh between Saint John and Fundy National Park. Originally reclaimed for agriculture, the dykes were destroyed by the "Groundhog Day Gale" of 1976. Black Ducks are the most significant of the waterfowl using this marsh, with as many as 200 overwintering here. Other waterfowl use the area for migration and wintering habitat. The fall foliage is also a very picturesque time of the year in St. Martins.
