It has vaulted 17 foot ceilings, with an abundance of windows including stained glass windows that stream in the beauty of natural light. Beautiful gardens and a pond on the property. A comfy queen bed , a wardrobe for easy unpacking, a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. A beautiful custom bathroom with a subway tiled walk in shower, marble floors, a vanity with an inset farmhouse sink and ample well lit mirror. Built in the era of 1929 bungalow. it is a certified natural habitat. The casita is following CDC and Airbnb guidelines for cleanliness for Covid-19. There are cats on the property but none are allowed in Casita Olivita. It is a pet free space. San Marcos Homeshare permit HS-17-03 Guest access Flagstone walkways down the driveway to Casita Olivita in the back yard of the main house. Access to the casita is detailed in particulars once you book. It is self check-in. Other things to note There is a charming garden with a naturalized pond. Many birds to watch. This is a certified natural habitat. The casita is close to the square in San Marcos, Texas. A beautiful quaint town with art galleries, shopping and restaurants. The beautiful San Marcos River runs through the center of town and the water is 72 degrees year around. It is the habitat for the endangered wild rice that is only found here in the San Marcos River. The river is the heart of San Marcos and a wonderful place to swim and tube.
