The space Many visitors and locals alike agree that Big Eddy Lodge is the perfect place for an Alaskan getaway. The house is 5,000 sq feet and can accommodate up to 16 guests. We have 8 bedrooms that each have 2 full beds and 4 full bathrooms. A master bedroom with a private bathroom plus 2 queen size beds (is an additional $300/night which will be requested thru the resolution center after you book) has a sensational 30-foot panoramic view of the river, Mt. Redoubt, and sunsets. Guest access The house is right on the Kenai river so you can go fishing anytime. There's plenty of space for parking on the property. Wifi. Trails to go hiking and hunting are also nearby. Other things to note We have partnerships with two fishing and guide companies on the river and nearby. Both are fantastic and can help arrange trips for both river fishing and deep sea fishing with exclusive discount pricing. You can also book a plane excursion for glacier viewing, bear viewing and all hunting trips. Many people come to the Peninsula to go on fishing trips. Please do not clean and gut your fish inside the house, most locals do this on the river and throw remains back in. Do not to leave fish remnants on the property, it will attract bears. There are also several places in town that can clean, filet and pack your fish for you. Big Eddy Lodge has two separate rental units. This listing is for the Bigger and newer part of the home.
