This spacious & serene space is just north of Ann Arbor, surrounded by lakes and parks. Brighton is close by. We offer 3 BR's and the entire upper living area of our Bi-Level home. The upper level is private to guests during stay. The lower level apartment is the owners living space, making us available for any needs you may have. This home is located in a small neighborhood surrounded by woods. You'll enjoy calming views and frequent wildlife visitors. Decor is eclectic & comfortable! Most visitors are intrigued by our location. The drive down our dirt road transports you from city to country. Our home is only 25 minutes to Ann Arbor and only 10 minutes from either Brighton or Howell. There is the enjoyment of city life close by, yet our 1-acre property is in a quiet park like neighborhood. Surrounded by city life, recreation areas, and lakes, the entertainment opportunities are endless. We've enjoyed this home and area for 25 years. Now, it is our "Empty Nest" to share with others. So, whatever brings you to our piece of paradise, we are here to make your stay comfortable and a time out from your "everyday" way of life. The entire upper level is private to guests during their stay. However, there is one room on the upper level that guests will not have access to. This room is owner storage and flex space. It will be locked. We will never need to access this room during a guests entire stay. We live in the lower level apartment of the home. This will make us very available and even hands-on if needed for anything during your stay. Please respect quiet hours with contact only for emergencies between 11pm and 7am. Texting is best. We are social people and enjoy interation, but only if that is the guests' choice to do so. If you see us out in the yard, feel free to say "HI." If you would like us to set up yard games or a bonfire, just let us know in advance, and we will set up those things for you. We want you to feel at home during your stay! We love to share information about the area... We love it here! Quiet cul-de-sac of 3 homes. We are on a dirt road and off the beaten path. We are secluded yet only 25 minutes from Ann Arbor and only 10 minutes to either Brighton or Howell. Our neighborhood is close distance (20 min) to parks, lakes, restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment. If you don't want to choose between "quiet" and "excitment," you won't have to here! Our neighborhood is very walkable. We have ample guest parking and room enough to park if you want to pull a boat. We also have safe storage for your bikes if you are coming for park trails. We have 2 beautiful and friendly dogs. Eli, a 12 year old Black Lab, and Stella, a 3 year old Beagle/ Norwegian Elk Hound mix. You will see them on the property from time to time for their outings and walks, but we respect our guests wishes as to the amount of interaction they are comfortable with.
