Private 3 BR, 1400 SF Guest Suite Within a Home!

This spacious & serene space is just north of Ann Arbor, surrounded by lakes and parks. Brighton is close by. 3 BR's and the complete upper living suite of our Bi-Level home is private to guests during stay. The 2 levels are seperated by stairs, with the lower level as the owners private apartment(unit) within the same house. This home is located in a small neighborhood surrounded by woods. You'll enjoy calming views and frequent wildlife visitors. Decor is eclectic & comfortable! The space Most visitors are intrigued by our location. The drive down our dirt road transports you from city to country. Our home is only 25 minutes to Ann Arbor and only 10 minutes to either Brighton or Howell. There is the enjoyment of city life close by, yet our 1-acre property is in a quiet park like neighborhood. Surrounded by city life, recreation areas, and lakes, the entertainment opportunities are endless. We've enjoyed this home and area for 25 years. Now, it is our "Empty Nest" to share with others. So, whatever brings you to our piece of paradise, we are here to make your stay comfortable and a time out from your "everyday" way of life. Guest access This is a bi-level home with two complete and seperate living quarters on each level. The entire upper level is private to guests during their stay. The lower level is where the owners live AND is within the same building and buffered by a double staircase including foyers at each private entrance (see pictures). There is one room on the upper level that guests will not have access to. This room is owner storage and flex space. It will be locked. We will never need to access this room during a guests entire stay. LAUNDRY: a one time use of our washer and dryer will be available only for long term stays of 7 days or more. ***PLEASE NOTE*** the full names of all adult guests at time of reservation request is expected and appreciated. Other things to note __We have a beautiful small dog named Stella, a 5 year old Beagle/ Norwegian Elk Hound mix. You will see her on the property from time to time for her outings and walks, but we respect our guests wishes as to the amount of interaction they are comfortable with. __An initial generous "starter" amount of toilet paper rolls are provided for our guests for short stays of 1-7 nights. Guests can purchase any extra essentials they may need at the near by Kroger. __For all long-term stays of more than 8 nights, replenishment of essentials (toilet paper, paper towel and coffee) beyond those initially provided will be up to the guests to purchase for their own use. Clean sheets and towels will be provided and laundered weekly by host. __Stays beyond a month should be considered a long-term rental with cleaning and daily living needs to be responsibility of guest OR as mutually worked out with host prior to stay.
