✨Simple charm in the heart of a coconut grove🌴✨ The house is in a coconut grove: depending on the weather, some mosquitoes may be present. Mosquito nets are available, but if you are very sensitive, it is better to take this into account. Enjoy a simple and peaceful stay, close to the village and the sea, in the heart of Huahine's nature. The space 🏡 Welcome to Huahine We live on site all year round and will be happy to host you during your stay on our beautiful island. The house is fully fenced and secure, with a manual gate for access. One room is occupied by us, and the other spaces are at your disposal. 🚲 Common spaces and amenities You will have a large covered garage, part of which is equipped as a gym (strength training machines, treadmill, punching bag, 4 x 4 m foam mat and various accessories). Entering through the indoor terrace, you will discover a fully equipped open kitchen, a friendly indoor living room and a functional laundry room 🛏️ Bedrooms and organization To the left of the indoor living room is our private bedroom, and to the right are the two bedrooms for guests. 🧺 Laundry and bathroom The house has a large laundry room with washing machine (available free of charge) and an indoor drying rack, convenient in case of rain. In good weather, you can use an outdoor drying rack located at the back of the house, accessible through the laundry room. In the laundry room, you will find two doors: on the left, our personal bathroom, which we use very rarely during your stays in order to leave you all the privacy you want. On the right, the guest bathroom, equipped with toilet, sink and shower with hot water thanks to a solar water heater. 🌴 Location The village center is 1.6 km away (5 min drive/23 min walk). The nearest beach is just a 3-minute walk away (ideal for walking, but not suitable for swimming because it is close to the reef). For swimming, the nearest public beach is 4 min drive or 20 min walk. ✨ Comfort and services included Wi-Fi connection (code displayed in the room) Fan and mosquito repellent in the room Linens provided (bath towels and hand towels). For cooler nights, we provide extra warm blankets on request. Guest access In addition to your bedroom and private bathroom, you can enjoy all the common areas of the house: the garden, the garage transformed into a gym, a covered terrace, the kitchen, the living room, the laundry room as well as the back of the house to hang your clothes. During your stay I am a middle school teacher and, depending on my schedule, I will be available mostly outside of my working days, on weekends and during school holidays (if I stay on the island). To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, I am accompanied by: - my partner Maui, an authentic Polynesian, a little shy but enthusiastic about sharing his culture, - and/or my co-hosts Orama and Christophe, Maui's parents. My in-laws live right next door to the house and will welcome you with all the Polynesian warmth and kindness. 🚗 Welcome and transfer If you'd like, we can pick you up by car to make your arrival easier.
