HOUSEHOLD is a renovated complex in an old building by the sea. The first floor is a kitchen (coffee shop), the second floor is a gallery, the third floor is private (condominium for long-term stays), and the fourth floor is an inn (accommodation). Guests can use the large kitchen counter on the 1st floor to cook dinner. There is also a kitchen dining area on the 3rd floor where you can cook while looking out at the sea, which is always available. There is a shower room and toilet on each floor, and there is also a laundry space on the 3rd floor, making it easy to stay for a long time. The 4th and 3rd floors, rooftop and terrace are almost private (only the 3rd floor toilet is shared with staff). You can also enjoy meals and drinks on the terrace if the weather is nice. [4F Bedroom 1 nami] Nami's room is a compact room with a window overlooking the sea on the east side. In front of the window you can see the sea, and on sunny days you can see the Tateyama mountain range and the sunrise. You can relax while lying on a large bed. [4F Bedroom 2 yane] Yane's room is a large room with a window on the south side and adjacent to the terrace. The room and terrace offer panoramic ocean and city views. [3F Bedroom 3 ani] [3F Bedroom 3 ane] The 3F private has two bedrooms centered around the kitchen dining area. There is a kitchen dining room where you can cook while looking at the sea, a spacious shower room, and a laundry space where you can do laundry, making it easy to stay for a long time. ------------------------------- ”A journey that begins with a "back door", not sightseeing at the "front door" ------------------------------- HOUSEHOLD is a small seaside inn where you can enjoy the town through cooking. We want you to learn about and enjoy the daily activities of the town and its households through "cooking". It's nice to enjoy a professionally prepared meal at a hotel or inn, but we think the best part of traveling is eating the food that locals always eat. Get seasonal ingredients from the land and cook them yourself. Or talk face-to-face with the owner at a shop where the locals frequent, or dine side by side with a local regular and have a chat. Please enjoy the richness of this town through "cooking". Guest access ------------------------------- Rooftop ------------------------------- You can enjoy a 360-degree view of Toyama Bay, the Tateyama Range, and Himi no Machi. ------------------------------- 4F terrace ------------------------------- The [nami] and [yane] rooms are on the 4th floor. A dining table and a comfortable outdoor chair are available. You can also cook simple meals in the mini kitchen and dine outdoors. ------------------------------- 3F private ------------------------------- The [ani] and [ane] rooms are on the 3rd floor. In addition to the kitchen dining area, there is also a laundry space. ------------------------------- 2F gallery ------------------------------- We also carry out original projects with the themes of cooking and daily life, as well as exhibitions in collaboration with Japanese and international artists and projects. The bookshelf is lined with recipe books, essays on food, art, design, lifestyle books, magazines, picture books, and more. ------------------------------- 1F kitchen ------------------------------- 8:30-10:00 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm We operate a cafe during the above hours, and we provide food and drink for your break. It can also be used by non-guests, so please feel free to stop by. ------------------------------- Annex workspace ------------------------------- This is a workspace overlooking the sea on the 2nd floor of the building next to HOUSEHOLD. It features a large round table desk where you can concentrate on work and meetings. Reservations are required for use. Other things to note If you have any concerns about the following, we may not be able to meet your expectations. Please be sure to check and consult with us before booking. We try to keep the facility as clean as possible by cleaning it carefully every day, but there are parts that look a little unfinished because we renovated an old building and used natural items such as antiques, natural wood, and stone. It doesn't have the cleanliness of a new building, but we hope you can enjoy the design and atmosphere created by old and natural things. It is an inn located in a residential area. If you meet a neighbor, please say hello. Please try to talk to and interact with your neighbors (sometimes they are shy). ・ There is no bathtub in the bathroom. If you want to relax, I can introduce you to a nearby hot spring. ・ You can eat drinks, desserts, and snacks in your room. However, please refrain from bringing in strong-smelling foods (pizza, instant foods, snacks). Enjoy the town's restaurants and local cuisine. ・ Please use the shared area until 10 pm. Please turn off the lights in the room by 12 am. Enjoy the quiet night atmosphere of nature and the countryside. The curtains in the guest rooms are not blackout curtains. We recommend moving your body with the sun. The windows do not have screens. Please note that small creatures such as insects may enter.
