Welcome to the Hyggehaus on the Drachenhof! The Drachenhof, the "Hyggehaus", is a lovingly, internally renovated manor house in the Elbauenland (northwest of Brandenburg) in the immediate vicinity of the fairytale oldest moated castle in the north of Germany, the Plattenburg. The space Hey, everyone! A warm welcome to your oasis of well-being! Our lovingly designed living area offers space for up to 8 people to relax and take a deep breath. Four cosily furnished rooms: 2 rooms each with a double bed, Two rooms with two single beds each, a cosy fireplace room and a fully equipped kitchen await you. Here you will find everything your culinary heart desires – from the stove and dishwasher to the Senseo machine for the perfect start to the day. The modern vintage bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a comfortable double shower and a double washbasin. Plus a separate toilet. After a day full of experiences in nature, the spacious living area invites you to end the evening by a crackling fire. Your inclusive services for a carefree stay Feel-good comfort: High-quality bed linen and fluffy towels are ready for you. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Private car parking space right outside the door. That extra touch of wellness: On request, you can book our cosy outdoor sauna with Hoz Beteuerungen and including a retro relaxation room. ✨ The event barn (NOTE: can be booked separately) Are you looking for the perfect place for your event? Our 400-square-metre, light-flooded event barn in a charming vintage style leaves nothing to be desired. On two levels, you will find a large open-plan kitchen (fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, etc.), a small library and a separate retreat and coaching room with its own tea kitchen. A rustic Kanuk wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth on cooler days. The ideal space for your ideas: whether for personal development seminars, yoga and meditation workshops, music and theatre groups, family celebrations, weddings or exclusive business training courses (incl. projector and large screen for live streams) – this is the perfect, protected setting for closed formats. Pure nature all around: right outside the door, our large, natural garden invites you to linger. Find your favourite spot in one of the cosy corners, relax by the natural pond or stroll through our large vegetable garden with its greenhouses and raised beds. In good weather, you can easily move your programme or your breaks outside. Overnight stays & retreats: Up to 8 people can stay overnight on our farm. For larger groups, we are happy to arrange additional cosy holiday rooms in the immediate vicinity. By the way, our property is also fantastic for guided retreats and vision quests. Guest access The guest area including the common room on the upper floor is at your disposal. In the basement there is the shared kitchen. On request, you can book the outdoor sauna with the rest house in the garden. The flat-rate usage fee is billed in cash on site. Other things to note Here in the Prignitz you will find many meadows, forests and wide fields, small and large streams, river and lake biotopes. Here the Havel and the Elbe flow past romantic places that invite you to linger and dream. We are embedded in the original, wild beauty of this natural treasure.
