The space Set on a quiet and leafy lane, just a ten-minute walk from the heart of the pretty village of Swalcliffe, this self-contained annexe offers all you need for a relaxing stay on the edge of the Cotswolds. The village itself boasts a beautifully preserved fifteenth century tithe barn, an ancient parish church and the popular 17th century Stags Head pub. There are glorious walks, bridleways and views in every direction. Relax and listen to the clip-clop of horses’ hooves, tawny owls and woodpeckers. Your cosy retreat offers a smart sitting room with double doors that lead from the driveway. This room has exposed stone walls and wooden beams, a sofa that can convert to a sprung bed, and a television with Freeview and access to Amazon and Netflix for subscribers. The comfortable bedroom comes with a super-king-sized bed and is open-plan with the kitchenette. This is equipped with a combination microwave (mini-oven and grill), small fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and a decent range of kitchen utensils. Double doors from the bedroom lead to a pretty little terrace complete with table, chairs and charcoal barbecue, the perfect place to sit in the sun and relax with a glass of wine. Other things to note Please note that there is a step to access both sets of doors. The quiet lane is the perfect spot for walking dogs.
