During your stay, activities can be organized at our park; you are welcome to participate. The apartment is located in the heart of Vakantiepark Meerzicht. This park has been in the news frequently because of the community's efforts to preserve and revitalize it. Thanks to these efforts, the rental proceeds are now earmarked for further renovation and sustainability projects within the park. This means that you not only enjoy a wonderful stay, but also contribute to the preservation and improvement of our beautiful park. A Park with a Story In the early years, the grounds of Vakantiepark Meerzicht were used as a campground. Until it came into the ownership of Europarcs, a well-known name in the recreation industry. Despite the fact that many campers were regular guests for years, Europarcs decided to buy the site. This caused unrest among the campers, who did not want to lose the charm and unique character of the campground. Instead of saying goodbye to their beloved vacation destination, they joined forces. The campers managed to take over the Europarcs grounds through a joint purchase. This resulted in a turnaround: not only was the property preserved, but a new vision was also created. The goal was to turn the campsite into a vacation park, where recreation and nature go hand in hand, and where everyone feels welcome. Contemporary Vision and Togetherness One of the biggest changes at Vakantiepark Meerzicht is that all the owners now jointly manage the park. Each owner owns a piece of land and has a say in the future of the park. This has led to a close-knit community, in which togetherness and involvement are a high priority.
