ROTIS COOKED ON TRADITIONAL MUD CHULHA In today’s fast-paced lives, not just gas stoves, microwaves, and ovens have become a necessity for living. However, if we look back just two-three decades ago, it was a homemade stove or clay chulha (stove) or mud Chulha that was used for cooking almost everything and is still a tradition in many regions of rural India. Although a clay chulha was not technically enabled and required you to flame it by blowing air continuously through a pipe but the food cooked on it was much tastier and healthier. GARDENING EXPERIENCE Being outdoors is a great learning environment for your child. Not only is it fun and exciting, but it is also a great opportunity for your child to learn about the vital aspects of taking care of things, being responsible, and seeing the life cycle of plants. The peak is not the tallest but still offers 360-degree views of Shimla, Mashobra, Kufri, Fagu, and Narkanda. Camping and trekking along the river and witnessing the old hydro-powered grinding mills is one of the many attractions in the vicinity. GOLFING AT NALDEHRA GOLF CLUB & MINI GOLF AT THE PREMISES Lying at a distance of 23 km from the city of Shimla is the evergreen Naldehra Golf Course. It is by far one of the most pristine places to visit in Himachal Pradesh. The hilly land stretches over a sprawling area of 4,285 yards, perched at an altitude of 2,200 meters. Surrounded by a halo of lush trees, the 18-hole course features 16 greens and 18 tees. ASTRO PHOTOGRAPHY & STAR GAZING Take a tour of the night sky, view familiar and unfamiliar constellations of the northern hemisphere, find various deep sky objects such as the Orion Nebula, and learn the correct use of binoculars and navigation via star maps. You will also be shown how to set up a telescope correctly before viewing and then photographing some of the magnificent sights in the night sky. No prior knowledge or equipment is needed, but feel free to bring both!
