New design house just 150 meters from Tofta Strand's amazing sand dunes. Perfect for beach vacations. Move freely between house, garden and beach without dragging stuff or planning. Open to the ridge, airy and minimalist lovely feeling. Large kitchen and good social areas inside and out. Five bedrooms. Designed and built for big families, two families, golf/bicycle gang or retreat weekend. Three-minute walk to sand dunes and beach. Amazing evening walks at sunset The space The summer 2025 was terrific. We had time to be there ourselves and we had many happy guests in our amazing 153 square meters of newly built design house. We have drawn, built and decorated it to suit two families, generation vacation for large family and groups. The house is perfect for one/a couple of lovely summer weeks on the beach where you have your oasis and you do not need to plan and carry things back and forth to the beach. With a couple of minutes walk to the dunes, the sea and Tofta Strand, beach house it will be easy to carry sup, pick nick, beach chairs etc to the beach and thanks to the short distance you can quickly leave the rest of the family/gang on the beach and go home for a nap, prepare lunch or go to the toilet with any child. The house is also perfect for the long weekend with the group of friends and we have, for example, many satisfied golf groups that take a weekend of cooking and wine and golf at Sweden's best golf course, Kronholmen. The house has 5 bedrooms, with room for 10 guests where the floor plan provides the opportunity for 2 families to stay a little separately. We recommend the house for bookings of max 10 people of which a maximum of 8 adults. Three rooms have double beds (160-180) , one has a bunk bed with 120 cm downstairs and 80 cm upstairs. The fifth bedroom has a narrower (70) bunk bed that is best suited for children/young people. ( There is also a single bed extra but it is placed outside bedrooms 3 and 4 and thus has no own door) Four of the bedrooms are downstairs and the last bedroom (with 180 cm double bed) is on the loft accessed by ladder. Tasteful design with a large, well-equipped kitchen and nice material choices. The roof in most parts makes the house airy and lovely. Integrated surfaces between kitchen, dining table and living room for food, dinners & socializing. Outside the large glass sections is the about 100m2 large terrace with gas grill. On the terrace there is a smaller lounge group (about five seats) and a sunbed/sun lounger. On the terrace there is also two dinner tables, two seating benches and a gas grill. Focus on beach, socializing, board games, cooking and music. There is no installed TV so you can bring your lap tops. We have sup and ping pong table, boule, and foosball for lovely active days. (The ping pong table is currently broken - we will fix new for summer 2026). In Tofta Strand you can walk, paddle SUP, bakery, play padel, beach volleyball, golf at Kronholmen or go in and eat in Visby. Grocery store and bakery are within walking distance (about June - September) There are ten quilts & pillows. Bed linens are brought. Before the summer of 2026, we have bought bed linen that can now be rented for SEK 200 / set (although we still recommend that you bring your own as it is more economical for you). During the fall of 2025 we have arranged more grass areas for games in the garden, more clothes storage in the bedrooms and an AC for the loft for the hottest summer weeks. Guest access The whole house is yours. The house is designed so that there are four bedrooms on the lower floor. On the upper floor, the loft, there is access via a ladder (see picture) and there is the last bedroom (double bed) and a small "lounge." 1: Master bedroom has integrated bathroom and direct exit to the balcony. (Suitable for two adults). The double bed is 160 cm wide 2: Next to it is the small bedroom with a 70 cm wide, slightly creaky bunk bed (for two children/young people up to about 13 years old). 3 & 4: Bedrooms 3 and 4 are located on the opposite side of the house, are relatively small and have a smaller hall with a small desk outside (there is an extra single bed). Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed that is 120 cm down and 80 cm up. Bedroom 4 has a 160 cm wide double bed. 5: In the loft, we have a bedroom with a 180-cm wide double bed. NOTE: to the loft there is a ladder (not a staircase - see picture) so older people or children should not sleep up there. Other things to note Private parking for two cars. Works well for Almedal Week, 20 minutes by car, about SEK 500-600 taxi or about 20 minutes by bus 10 As the house was newly built in the fall of 2023, some of the land has not really settled and the lower (farthest) part of the garden is therefore still a little unplanned and visually sad with planks that remain. The pergola is not finished. The entrance to the loft is a loft ladder that you should be a little careful (not for children or elderly people) when using. In my instructions, I have asked the cleaners to check the grill, but we are grateful if you clean the grill after cooking so that it is fresh for the next guest. Please note that this house is rented out without bed linens and towels, but can be fixed in case of emergency/request for a cost surcharge. Please let us know when booking. We also do not leave any consumables between guests and you should bring your own spices, toilet paper, soap, etc.
