The Deckhouse-Monkey Island Getaway

Relax and unwind after a day of exploring Grand Lake and all that it has to offer here at “The Deckhouse”. Enjoy the fire pit, play some shuffleboard or corn hole, or watch a movie on one of the 3 smart TV’s. Only 3.5 miles from Shangri La Resort, golf courses, marinas and restaurants are within 5 miles. We have games, toys, kid-sized table with 2 chairs, and a Nintendo Wii console/Wii sports for the kiddos. There is a private neighborhood boat loading zone just steps away. Pet-friendly. The space Living room has a comfy couch, smart tv, Wii Console, record player with records, seating/reading area in the corner, kids toys, board games, and a kids table with 2 chairs. Dining room has a bench and chairs to seat 6. Coffee bar has Keurig with K cups, sugar, and vanilla or caramel syrup. Kitchen has full size appliances, enough dinnerware for 8, utensils, and some cooking essentials. Dishwasher pods, sponges, trash bags, paper towels provided under the sink. Washer and dryer with pods and fabric sheets provided. The game room/trundle bedroom has a trundle bed, a smart tv, shuffleboard table, cornhole, and small bowling set as well as outdoor lights and access to the backyard (fully fenced) or the side deck with a bar table and chairs. Both doors have doggie doors on them as well. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a smart tv The upstairs loft has 2 twin beds and an en suite half bath. The fire pit is in the front and there is seating on the front deck as well. The home has free wifi, first aid kits, and all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable! Guest access Guests have access to entire home except one closet by the bathroom reserved for the cleaning crew Other things to note The neighborhood is very large, but walkable. We have a private neighborhood boat ramp that you can use. H2O sports has a branch in the neighborhood that has boat/jetski rentals as well as a gas station/convenience store.
