Families & friends can stay connected in the totally open concept main living area while enjoying year-round unobstructed 30+ mile views of the most recognized peaks in the Blue Ridge. Or, you can enjoy private time in a wonderful reading room right off the master bedroom or in 2nd living room on the lower level. Beacon Hill is located just 1.5 mi. to the Blue Ridge Pkwy entrance & less than 3 mi. to all of the wonderful restaurants & shops on Main St. in Blowing Rock. The space null. Guest access Guests will have full access to all of the home with exception of a housekeeping closet and separate utility room both on the lower level Other things to note At just over 3,800 ft elevation and more or less nothing higher in elevation to our home for 30+ miles to the west southwest it is not at all unusual to get snow in the winter months & I would highly recommend a 4WD or all-wheel drive car to be safe. Our small neighborhood has a terrific private contractor that clears the roads quickly & often during storms and we’re less than 200 yards from a main road (NC 221) that is well maintained also.I just like to let guests know in advance.
