The Wadden Sea of the North Sea is unesco - world heritage site and one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Germany. A holiday in Emmelsbüll on the North Sea promises peace, relaxation and healthy fresh air. The small town is located in almost immediate proximity to the dike and the Wadden Sea behind it, where you can make great mudflat walks. The Emmelsbüller swimming spot is also not far away, where you will experience swimming fun together in the North Sea. The extensive nature invites you to cycle tours, where you can observe the species-rich flora and fauna or explore places such as Niebüll or Dagebüll. From Dagebüll you can easily reach the North Frisian islands Amrum and Föhr. Or you can take the train from Niebüll to Sylt. A day trip to the islands is highly recommended! The border with Denmark is also not far away, so you can also make beautiful excursions here. Larger cities such as Hamburg, Kiel or Flensburg are only about 1-1.5 hours away by car and invite you to shopping trips and tasteful restaurant visits.
