Glamping available at Nellie’s Flower Farm. Beautiful country setting surrounded by nature - flowers, peafowl, donkeys, Guinea fowl, farmhouse porch to enjoy in beautiful Hampshire County, West Virginia. We are just 8 miles from historic Romney, WV. The stars are so bright and you may catch sight of a white tail deer, bald eagles, squirrels, and more. There's a fire pit, firewood available to purchase, charcoal grill, charcoal in our little shop, bed linens provided. The tent has a double bed, rocking chair on the little porch, camp chairs, a fire pit with chairs, roasting sticks, charcoal grill. There is a camp toilet and hand washing station. You are also welcome to the farmhouse bathroom but its a little hike at night. There's a water hydrant close with well water that is safe for drinking. The flowers will be in bloom July through September and then it's Fall - I feel that is the perfect time on the farm. My sister has a fishing pond 1/2 mile down the road and has fishing rods to rent and a nephew sells night crawlers right next door. There's a mature woods to hike. There is a fence and signs that keep you on our property. There are occasionally events at the farm, farmer's market type stuff, paint a mason jar evenings, and other crafty type events in the evenings. These are always posted on our FB page with times, price, etc. You are free to roam over our 40 acres. We will go over the area you have access to and where the lines are for the farm next door that is off limits We will be working at the farm and at the farmhouse throughout the day. We will also leave phone numbers to reach us if there is a need. We live just a minute away. This tent is located on Nellie’s Flower Farm in Augusta, WV. Located on the hill behind the farmhouse. Water hydrant with safe drinking water, outdoor camp toilet available as well as access to the bathroom in the farmhouse. The farmhouse front porch is great sitting area to enjoy your favorite beverage. There’s a fire pit and sticks available for roasting marshmallows or hotdogs. Charcoal grill. Charcoal available to purchase. Firewood available to purchase. We are close by - usually they’re working on the farm if anything comes up or you have questions. This is camping so you will need to pack your bug spray, foil for the grill, utensils, ice, etc. we are just five miles to the grocery store. You park in the field right by your tent. There is room for an air mattress in the tent if you need space for another guest or two.
