This cosy Annex with off street parking is fully equipped with everything you'll need for a delightful getaway in Bradford on Avon. The Annex is a short, flat walk to the centre of this historic town with shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. The Annex makes for a fantastic base to explore not only Bradford on Avon, but also enjoy beautiful countryside walks or a cycle ride along the canal, as well as the city of Bath just a short train or bus ride away. The space The Annex has been completely refurbished to a high spec and is conveniently located on the south side of town, so no steep hills to access all Bradford on Avon has to offer. The living room has a comfy two seater sofa; HDTV with Freesat and Apps including BBC iPlayer and Netflix, DVD player (and small selection of DVDs) and a Bluetooth smart speaker. The stylish, compact and functional kitchen contains an electric oven, two-ring induction hob, fridge (with a small freezer compartment – useful for ice-cream or ice in the summer months) and microwave along with all the tools and essentials that you may require should you wish to prepare your own meals – although with so many fantastic options for dinner out, you will be spoilt for choice! The bathroom is tastefully decorated and spacious with an electric shower, sink, WC, heated mirror and heated towel rail. Outside, guests have their own private entrance and access to a sizeable private garden with a bistro style table and two chairs - with the charcoal BBQ, it is perfect for alfresco dining in the summer months. There is space for one car on the shared driveway; all we ask is that guests park over to the left/in front of the garage door. The entrance to the driveway is narrow but easily passable for any car (including SUVs) but it is easier to reverse in (especially when it comes to getting out). There is also ample free parking on the road opposite the Annex. High quality bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi are all included – log-in details will be provided on check in. Guest access The entire property will be yours to relax in. Other things to note The Kennet & Avon Canal is so close, a walk to the Cross Guns at Avoncliff is a must do walk! Or go further on to Freshford or even Bath, If we are around we are happy to loan you bikes for the cycle path. The water supply is shared with the main house, however, this is only ever an issue if all the toilets are flushed at the same time and a tap is running. On the rare occasion it does happen the inconvenience lasts for seconds. Conveniently located on the South side of town, so no steep hills to get to all Bradford on Avon has to offer. There are a number of local guides in the annex to browse through at your leisure.
