The property is located on the border between Mexico and Guatemala, from where you can see the Suchiate River Canyon, a natural limit between both countries. You can appreciate the Tacana and Tajumulco Volcanoes. Two-level cabin, with interesting paintings: Main camera with air conditioning and fans in the two secondary bedrooms. It has a living room, a kitchen with a refrigerator and a stove. Comfortable place for resting. Nice weather. Exterior with pool and large palapa with grill. The space At El Palomar, we pride ourselves on being in harmony with nature, and it's our passion to make sure you enjoy your experience and leave with unforgettable memories. A creek runs through the property and the sound of flowing water, delighting it all day. There is lush flora and many birds will appear singing as well as insects of a thousand species of exotic colors. If you want to do more than spend time relaxing in our hammocks or in the pool, there are many wonderful activities inside and outside the property. You can walk 45 minutes and down to the Suchiate River, climb the summit of Tacaná Volcano, visit organic coffee estates, visit a waterfall or nearby mangroves, or explore the archaeological ruins of Izapa. For the more citizen, in Tapachula there are many activities and restaurants to choose from. At night, temperatures are warmer and in the mornings the sun is intense, it should be noted that this is a tropical wet area. Guest access The property is surrounded by vegetation, cacao plantings, coffee, flowers and trees typical of the region, there is a small fish nursery. You could take walks around these spaces as they are part of the property. For an extra fee, you can request that you prepare a freshly caught mojarra or prepare organic eggs from the ranch chicken for you. Other things to note Due to the lush vegetation, there will be insects of many varieties, and although their pickets can be annoying, the same plants provide natural remedies against these or other damages caused by them, despite this it is advisable to bring insect repellent, organic flame to preserve the environment. El Palomar is a Wi-Fi-free site, but we don't have our own phones or internet signal, but cell coverage is quite acceptable. In rainy season, thunderstorms are recurring. Watching rain in that part of Chiapas is a unique experience.
