Welcome to The Sellicks Shack! As soon as you step into our family-friendly haven, you'll be captivated by the incredible views that greet you from every room. With Sellicks Beach just a short 700m stroll away, you'll have everything you need for a marvelous beachside holiday. When we renovated and furnished this place, we really put ourselves in your shoes. We asked ourselves, "What do we miss when we're away from home?" and "What do Airbnb's in the area lack?" The space Our goal was to create a space that surpasses expectations. We hope you'll fall in love with our new, stylish kitchen featuring a 900mm induction cooktop and oven. The servery window that opens to the huge north-facing deck adds a touch of convenience and connection to the outdoors. We've equipped the kitchen with top-notch appliances, including a NutriBullet, air fryer, and a Venturo Nespresso machine with plenty of pods. You'll find an abundance of crockery and serving utensils, ensuring you have everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Rest assured, all bedrooms have been thoughtfully prepared with quality linen, ample hanging space, and even some toys in the kids' room. The Queen and King beds are fitted with electric blankets for extra coziness, and the King room has its own TV. We understand that laundry is an essential part of any stay, so we've made sure to provide a new 10kg washer and 8kg heat pump dryer in our laundry. We want you to feel completely at ease during your stay, which is why we've prepared a storage area under the house. Here, you'll find a double pram, port-o-cot, 2 high chairs, a beach wagon, an esky, an ice bucket, and a portable change table. These items are at your disposal should you need them. To ensure your comfort at all times, our home is equipped with a new ducted air-conditioning system. Regardless of the weather outside, you'll always find the perfect temperature indoors. The fully fenced backyard is a dream come true for kids. They'll have a blast playing on the basketball court, large play gym, and sandpit. And for the adults, we've even set up a fire pit where you can gather 'round and create lasting memories. We want your holiday experience to be stress-free and enjoyable, so we've made sure to provide all the kitchen and laundry essentials in abundance. No need to rush out and buy the basics – you're on holiday, after all! We love our location at The Sellicks Shack with the infamous Victory Hotel at the end of the road and the much-loved cellar door, Berg Herring on your way there! Less than 10 minutes drive away you have our favourite restaurant Pearl which showcases stunning seafood and local produce at its finest. The Silver Sands Beach Club is a family-friendly restaurant only 5 minutes away that has a delicious menu and great drinks menu. And if that’s not enough, you have the entire McLaren Vale wine region 20 minutes drive down the road. We hope you can sit back, relax, and make the most of your time at The Sellicks Shack. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, back yard and garage under the house to store anything you need. Other things to note The home is wheel chair friendly by accessing via the back ramp.
