Clean, quiet, soaking tub w/hand shower, shared bath, floors need to be refinished, but mattresses are comfortable. No kitchen use, no pets. Drive miles: 20 to Portland, 10 to PDX, 45 to Hood River; all frwy. Walk: Edgefield, Food Carts, Columbia Outlet Mall, Sugar Pine Drive-in, Restaurants, Sandy River @ Glen Otto Park, Lewis & Clark State Park, Museums, Art. Cat & dog in home. The space Best for tourists, and people who need a quiet place to sleep, but will be eating out. Downstairs bedroom North facing. Black-out curtains. Quiet and clean. Central A/C. Does not get afternoon sun/heat. Shared bathroom is downstairs, and has a soaking tub with hand shower. Plenty of street parking. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very close to Mcmenamins, all things Portland, and the Gorge. Guest access There is an electronic door lock. I will send the door code so you can let yourself in if I cannot greet you. You are welcome to enjoy the common areas and the backyard. The kitchen - cooking is not included in the listing (no microwave) . Making coffee/tea or using the fridge is fine. A load of laundry is $5. During your stay I enjoy interacting with guests, or not. I generally try to make my guests feel comfortable, so I play it by ear. I work from home, and am very responsive to texts. Other things to note The shared bathroom is on the main level. There’s a dog, Porter, who lives here, and he may bark but he is friendly. There is also a cat called Clyde, who can go outside or inside. He’s not allowed to hang out in the Twins room in case guests are allergic.
