Steps away from the CTA Blue Line train in an area featuring great cafes, bars and restaurants! The apartment was recently renovated and the bed is a Bob-O-Pedic memory foam mattress. If you're coming to Chicago for concerts, sporting events, restaurants, museums or other cultural activities, this location is ideal and pretty chill! The space This is a cozy studio apartment which has worked well for musicians, writers, and guests from around the globe. It's extra bright for a garden level apartment. The foundation of the property dates back to the 1800’s when the street level was lower. It’s one of Chicago’s original neighborhoods with tons of character. The neighborhood is vibrant but this space is pretty quiet and off the busier streets. The street is just about the size of an alley which means it has much less auto traffic on it. We like to keep the apartment clean and comfy. We even put insulation in below the floor level to keep the apartment dry and to avoid any mold. You can spend time checking out the amazing area and downtown Chicago but come back to a real Chicago neighborhood and relax! PARKING: It’s FREE and usually available within 100FT of the apartment on the street. Please feel free to unload your gear but please never block our driveway because we get many deliveries for our business. Keep in mind that this is a pretty safe neighborhood but it is the city so there is always some risk with street parking. I have had maybe one broken window and one incident of tire damage in 20 years. Guest access You have access to the entire studio exclusively plus washer and dryer located in the garage area behind the apartment.
