Tildesley mud brick cottage

Enjoy the peace and serenity of this rural retreat. Set in 18 acres in a rural/woodland environment, Tildesley is a self-contained mud brick cottage with queen bedroom, en-suite and open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. With a wood heater for winter warmth and air-conditioning for summer, the cottage provides a comfortable environment all year round. Surrounding this rustic cottage and adjacent main house are 2.5 acres of manicured gardens, orchards, vegetable garden, paddocks & dams. The space Guests have sole use of the cottage which has a queen size bedroom, but children can be accommodated on a good quality large single portable bed and/or mattress in the open plan living area. An in-ground swimming pool was recently installed and is available to guests. Repeat guests, a lovely couple from South Australia, have very kindly and skillfully put together a slideshow, with music, and it captures the property marvelously across different seasons. The slideshow can be viewed on You Tube by searching "Tildesley B&B Simpsons Creek Victoria". Guest access Guests are welcome to stroll through the gardens, the paddocks and our natural forest. The swimming pool is also available to guests. Other things to note Tea, coffee, milk & sugar are all provided, along with self-serve breakfast. Breakfast items include cereals, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, eggs, home-baked bread and condiments for toast. The kitchen includes oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, sauces, herbs and spices. Some additional goodies are also provided, along with home grown seasonal produce (when available) from our orchard and vegetable garden.
