Cabin in Hadley

Cozy Log Cabin sitting amidst trees on a 1/4 acre treed lot. Walk to the Bend of the River Golf or pvt Hudson River Sandy Beach. Cabin lies between Lake George Village and Saratoga via 9N. Hearken back to yesteryear, but with new bathroom, kitchen, dishwasher, central air and heat and W/D There is a stone fireplace, for winter. All rooms have ceiling fans. Linens and all kitchen necessities provided. The space I've spent the winter of 22 refurbishing this lovely log cabin, to bring it back to what it once was and should be. The log walls have been meticulously restored and rechinked, hardwood floors refinished, electric updated to accomadate new central AC and new kitchen and appliances. The cabin has been re- stained a lovely "Pine Cone". New contrasting green gutters have been added. The back covered deck has been brought to code. The wooden mullioned windows and removable wood storms have been reconditioned and a local craftsman has made all new removable wood screens for that original and authentic look. The stone fireplace has been redone from the inside out with new liners for both heat and fireplace as well as new cap and damper. Bathroom has been redone. I have put in a lovely new driveway in the fall of 23. Guest access Walk the neighborhood, it's about a mile. It is bordered by the river on 2 sides as well as the unfenced golf course. Its like walking around an island, passing the local camps and neighbors. Other things to note I will provide by email prior to your arrival a series of sheets listing the cabin workings such as HVAC, lighting etc, Things To do in the area etc. I have found in my previous cabins that this is most appreciated and my guests feel at ease and comfortable in their surroundings from the outset. No question is unimportant if it your concern.
